DESENO-managed since April 2025

The challenge

A distinctive drink with a small, quiet audience.

Swaras Beverages makes fruit juices and mocktails with aloe pulp and authentic desi flavours — a genuinely different product in a crowded beverage market. But when DESENO took over the social in April 2025, the brand had low engagement and a small follower base. On a feed full of polished drinks brands, standing out needed more than posting — it needed content people actually wanted to share.

The brief: build real, organic engagement and an authentic community — not vanity followers — entirely through content.

Our approach

Content that entertains first, sells second.

We built a platform-native content engine for Instagram: reels that ride culture and trends, interactive formats that invite participation, and fast, genuine community engagement — so the audience grew because they wanted to.

01

Viral, shareable reels

Short, punchy reels built on trending audio, strong visuals and relatable concepts — made to be shared, not scrolled past — for explosive organic reach and a steady influx of new followers.

02

Interactive formats

Instagram-native interactive reels — a Clap Challenge to switch flavours, a pause-and-screenshot flavour spin, and cinematic ‘beachside refresher’ vibes — turning viewers into participants.

03

Humour & cultural moments

Meme-style edits, an AirDrop spoof, energy-drink parodies and Bollywood-nostalgia remixes for Jeera & Nimboo Pani — trending formats that earned shares and saves.

04

Community, not just count

Fast, genuine replies and content shaped by audience insights — building a community around the brand rather than chasing a follower number.

The results

Organic growth that built a community.

In five months of purely organic content, Swaras went from a small, low-engagement base to a vibrant, growing community. Across 80 posts we added 2.4K followers, held a 0.72% engagement rate (above the food & beverage average) and averaged around 1K views per post — with the biggest wins coming from reels that entertained first and sold second.

What we learned

What didn’t work — and what it taught us.

Honest experiments matter. A few things underperformed, and each one sharpened the strategy.

Long text captions

Verbose captions saw far lower read-through and engagement than short, punchy messaging — so we kept copy tight.

Overly promotional graphics

Corporate-looking promo posts fell flat next to authentic, lifestyle-led imagery — so we led with real moments.

Slow comment responses

Delayed replies killed conversation momentum — so we made fast, genuine engagement non-negotiable.

Creative reels + humour + cultural relevance = organic growth. When you entertain first and sell second, you build a community — not just a follower count.
