Your name, work email, phone number, company and business details (such as what you make or sell and your company size), your budget range and preferred start date, and how you reached the page (campaign tags, ad click IDs from Google or Meta, the page you came from, your device type and time on the page). We use them to reply, to prepare for our call, and to see which ads and pages bring enquiries.

We don’t ask for sensitive information such as financial details, health information or identity documents through our website.
Why we’re allowed to use it
- You gave it to us for a purpose. When you send an enquiry, book a call or apply for a job, we use your details only for that purpose.
- You agreed. For our newsletter, marketing emails, call recordings, and analytics and marketing cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it.
- The law requires it. For example, keeping tax and accounting records, or answering lawful requests from authorities.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell the personal data you give us. We share it only with service providers who handle it for us and are bound to protect it:
- Hostinger: hosts our website and its database
- Microsoft 365 and Google: our company email
- Resend: sends the emails our website generates, such as enquiry notifications
- ClickUp: our project and recruitment tracker
- Cal.com: the scheduling software behind our booking page, which we run ourselves
- Fathom: call recording and notes
- Email-sending services such as ManyReach: send our newsletters and email campaigns
- Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram): measure our website and ads, and run our lead forms
- Anthropic: AI software our team uses to draft and organise work
We also share information with professional advisers and auditors, and with government or law-enforcement authorities when the law requires it.
Data stored outside India
Some of these providers store data outside India, for example in the USA or the EU. Indian law allows this unless the Government restricts transfers to a particular country, and no country is restricted today. We choose established providers that protect personal data.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries, bookings and ad lead forms: 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client.
- Job applications and CVs: 12 months after you apply, unless you join us.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Call recordings: up to 12 months.
- Analytics data: up to 14 months in Google Analytics.
- Client and invoice records: as long as Indian tax and company law require, generally 8 years.
- Security logs: for the period the law requires.
After that we delete the data or remove anything that identifies you. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep only your email address or phone number and the date on a do-not-contact list, so that we never contact you again.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you, how we use it and who we have shared it with;
- correct, complete or update it;
- delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- stop using it where you gave consent (use the unsubscribe link, reply “stop”, or email us);
- nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to;
- resolve a complaint about how we have handled your data.
Email our Grievance Officer at ajay.badve@deseno.co.in from the email address we have for you, or tell us the email address or phone number you used, so that we can find your data. We may ask you to confirm who you are. There is no charge, and we reply within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India once it starts taking complaints (the complaint provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act apply from 13 May 2027). The law asks you to use our grievance process first.
